cross country skiingIf you would like to rent a bike, we do have them available with a bike lock for security.  There are plenty of trails that are well-maintained around Fairbanks.

The bus stop is one half mile from the main office.

The Fairbanks North Star Borough Bus system will transport you to the downtown area, University and even out to North Pole. http://co.fairbanks.ak.us/Transportation/default.htm and http://co.fairbanks.ak.us/busroutes/

While Fairbanks is small, it is spread out.  We are located on the west side of town, near the University of Alaska where you can partake of many activities.  There are several local restaurants and some night life within walking distance.  Please ask for our current list of available pubs for local flavor.

Chena Hot Springs Road offers camping facilities (Twin Bears) and hiking at two beautiful trails:  Angel Rock and Granite Tors. www.dnr.state.ak.us/parks/aktrails/ats/int/ganitors.htm and of course there is the Chena Hot Springs to see.

Chatanika River and the White Mountain recreational area have great trails for hiking.
